The solution to content decay is a systematic update strategy. Identify pages with declining traffic monthly and update statistics, screenshots, examples, and recommendations. Add new sections covering developments since the last update. Conduct a content audit and decide for each article: update, consolidate, or remove via content pruning. A healthy content velocity for new content and regular updates for existing content keeps your entire content library fresh.
