The technical foundation
for top rankings.
Without clean technology, even the best content is useless. Technical SEO ensures that search engines can crawl, index, and evaluate your website without problems. Core Web Vitals, structured data, site speed — I bring your technology to top level. 20+ years of experience, starting at EUR 69/h.
Why technical SEO makes the difference
Technical problems are the most common and at the same time most invisible reason for poor rankings. Slow load times, crawling errors, missing indexing, or broken redirects — these problems cost you traffic and revenue every day without you noticing.

My technical SEO services
Technical SEO covers all measures that ensure search engines can optimally capture and evaluate your website. These are the core areas I cover.
Core Web Vitals
LCP, INP, and CLS — Google's metrics for user experience are a ranking factor. I analyze your Core Web Vitals, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations for maximum performance on desktop and mobile.
Crawling & Indexing
What Google cannot crawl will not be indexed. What is not indexed will not rank. I optimize your crawling control via robots.txt, XML sitemaps, canonical tags, and meta robots directives so every important page lands in the index.
Site Speed & Performance
Fast websites rank better and convert more. I optimize image formats, eliminate render-blocking resources, implement lazy loading, and ensure efficient caching. Every millisecond counts — for Google and for your users.
Structured Data & Schema Markup
Schema.org markup helps search engines and AI systems understand your content. I implement FAQPage, HowTo, Product, LocalBusiness, and other relevant schemas for rich snippets and better AI visibility.
My technical audit in 5 steps
A systematic process that examines all technical aspects of your website and delivers prioritized recommendations.
Website Crawl & Analysis
I crawl your entire website with professional tools and systematically analyze the results. HTTP status codes, redirect chains, duplicate content, broken links — every technical problem is captured and categorized.
Core Web Vitals & Performance
Detailed analysis of your load times and user experience. I identify the biggest performance bottlenecks — from oversized images to uncompressed code to slow server response times. Every problem is documented with a concrete solution.
Indexing & Crawl Budget
Analysis of Google Search Console: Which pages are indexed? Which are not? Why? I optimize robots.txt, XML sitemaps, and canonical tags so Google uses your crawl budget optimally and every important page is in the index.
Mobile & Accessibility
Google indexes mobile first. I check mobile display, touch elements, viewport configuration, and responsive design. This also includes reviewing accessibility — because accessible websites perform better for all users.
Audit Report & Prioritization
You receive a detailed audit report with all findings, prioritized by impact and effort. Quick wins are marked, more complex measures are clearly described. Optionally, I implement the optimizations directly or work with your development team.
All technical areas at a glance
Technical SEO is multifaceted. Here are all the areas I cover in my audit and optimization.
XML Sitemap & robots.txt
Correct XML sitemaps help Google find all important pages. The robots.txt controls which areas may be crawled. I ensure both files are optimally configured and no important pages are blocked.
HTTPS & Security
SSL certificates, HSTS headers, mixed content, and security headers. A secure website is a ranking factor and a trust signal. I check your security configuration and fix all issues.
URL Structure & Redirects
Clean URL structures, correct 301 redirects, and avoidance of redirect chains. I optimize your URL architecture for maximum crawl efficiency and prevent link equity losses.
Internationalization (hreflang)
Multilingual websites need correct hreflang tags so Google serves the right language version to the right user. I implement and validate your hreflang configuration error-free.
Technical SEO — the invisible foundation
Technical SEO encompasses all measures that ensure search engines can correctly crawl, index, and evaluate a website. As an SEO freelancer with over 20 years of experience, Christian Synoradzki identifies technical problems that systematically prevent rankings — from faulty crawling control to Core Web Vitals weaknesses to indexing errors that make even high-quality content invisible.
Why is technical SEO the foundation of every strategy?
Technical SEO is the prerequisite for all other SEO measures to work at all. Without a clean technical foundation, neither content optimization nor link building will reach their full potential — Google can only rank what it can also crawl and understand.
What happens without technical SEO?
The consequences of technical SEO errors are often invisible but severe. A faulty robots.txt can cause important pages not to be crawled at all. Missing or misconfigured canonical tags create duplicate content problems where Google splits ranking power across multiple URLs instead of concentrating it on one. Redirect chains with three or more hops waste crawl budget and weaken link equity transfer.
Particularly critical: pages showing the status "Discovered - currently not indexed" in Google Search Console are found by Google but not evaluated. This means that even excellent content has no chance of ranking. A complete SEO audit systematically uncovers such problems.
Core Web Vitals and their influence on rankings
Since the Page Experience Update in 2021, Core Web Vitals are officially a ranking factor. The three metrics each measure a different aspect of user experience: LCP (Largest Contentful Paint) evaluates perceived loading speed — a value under 2.5 seconds is considered good. INP (Interaction to Next Paint) replaced FID in 2024 and measures responsiveness to user input. CLS (Cumulative Layout Shift) quantifies visual instability during loading.
Poor Core Web Vitals cause direct harm. Indirectly, they increase bounce rates, which is also negatively evaluated as a user signal. The connection to PageSpeed optimization is direct here: technical SEO and performance tuning interlock at Core Web Vitals.
Crawl budget: How Google prioritizes your website
Googlebot has a limited crawl budget for each domain — a certain number of pages that are crawled per time period. For small websites, this rarely matters. For large websites with thousands of pages, faceted navigation (e.g., in shops), or parameterized URLs, crawl budget management becomes critical.
Measures for crawl budget optimization include: blocking irrelevant URLs via robots.txt, cleaning up URL parameters in Search Console, correctly setting noindex directives for filter pages, and minimizing redirect chains. Additionally, the SEO checklist shows which technical points should be considered from the start during a relaunch or new website.
Identifying and fixing indexing problems
Indexing problems are among the most common and simultaneously most poorly understood technical SEO issues. Google Search Console distinguishes numerous statuses: "Crawled - currently not indexed," "Duplicate without canonical tag," "Alternate page with proper canonical tag" — each status requires a different response.
I analyze the complete indexing situation of your website, prioritize the causes, and implement corrections. Together with a solid technical foundation, this creates the framework in which content optimization and internal linking can develop their full impact. Those who want to take a holistic approach will find the strategic starting point for every technical and content optimization measure in keyword research.
