Natural Language Processing (NLP) refers to the ability of artificial intelligence to understand, interpret, and process human language. Technically, NLP works through various processing layers: tokenization (breaking text into words), part-of-speech tagging (identifying word types), named entity recognition (identifying entities like people and places), and semantic analysis (assigning meaning).
