What Is AI SEO?
AI SEO unites both sides of the coin: using AI as a tool while simultaneously optimizing for AI. On the tool side, AI dramatically accelerates the analysis of large data sets from Search Console and the creation of content. On the optimization side, content must be prepared so that LLMs recognize it as a trustworthy source and cite it in their responses — that requires new strategies beyond classic ranking factors.
AI SEO is a dual term that captures two developments. Second, the optimization of content for AI-based search systems such as AI Overviews, ChatGPT Search, and Perplexity AI.
